Memorial Day at the Cemetary

Sunday night, the Cook's gathered at Elysian Garden Cemetery to remember Grandpa Cook Uncle David Cook and his parents.
Grandma reminded us what great people we are descendants of. Grandma is a great example of faith, and enduring. Thanks to John and Liz's family for planning it and for the delicious barbecue.
Love you all!

Will catching up with the cousins

Help, Help, Help

Happy Surprise Mother's Day Lunch! Mom we love you so much.

On Saturday, Wendy's high school friends (including Jane Durham) gave her a baby shower. It was so fun to go and see her wonderful friends love her so much and be so excited for her.

Putting the boat on. Very exciting!

Checking everything out. He is pretty excited too! Happy Birthday Dad, Merry Christmas everyone.

Grandma was very nervous. She held on to my arm the whole time. She did it though. She is trying so hard. They leave for Hebgen on Friday for the whole summer.

Grandpa had called to say he was coming to see the boat. So we said, "Get in the car and you can come with us."

Saturday, Sam, Dad, Kim, Grandpa, Grandma and I went back to Jordanelle. Sam was pretty excited.

Our Boat

Wednesday, Dad brought home our boat. It was very exciting. Thursday, Dad and I took it to Jordanelle to start breaking it in. It was so nice to be with Dad all afternoon. I took a nap, then he took a nap, then I took another nap. We drove around for 4 hours.

It was a hot game. Jennifer Wallace let us use her umbrella. It became the new home for Ella, Preston and her kitty.

Kim you played great! You beat the number one team 3 to 1. You even played with a sprained ankle. Way to Go!
Kim you played great! You beat the number one team 3 to 1. You even played with a sprained ankle. Way to Go!

What are you doing? This is so weird! Help, help, help! It's ok Mom, it's a secret. Are you peeking. Mom do you know where you are? Mom, don't open the door.

Lunch was delicious at Red Butte. You all paid for my lunch and your own. Thanks so much. You must all be grown up and working class citizens. Way to go! Wendy took the picture.

So fun!

Ella was the first to drive the boat. I think she touched every button. Preston knocked off the center to the steering wheel. So it's already broken in.

Happy Birthday Grandpa

Happy Birthday Grandpa! He got a new boat. Grandpa is so wonderful because all he wants is to take the family on it. He loves being with all of you, so come get on the boat.

Thanks Honey, Dad and Grandpa

We think Preston likes the pool the most.

Swimming at Grandma's

It was so hot Amy got out Grandma's fancy pool to swim.

Kim learned to french braid her hair during the party.

Grandma getting to know Preston.
Sam and his new buddy watch while Anna opens her presents.

Our new hot tub. After a cold water fight the hot tub felt soo good. Ella invited all to join her.

The Grandparents came. Grandpa played volleyball and was sad when Mom turned on the sprinklers to start the waterfight.

We just found out Wendy and Will are both having a baby. Wendy's is going to be so beautiful. Will's is going to look like a volleyball.

Anna invited her friend Christian Kirham to come. Well, Mom invited Christian, but Anna was

glad. He has a mission call to Brussels Belgium leaving Aug 1st

Anna's Birthday

Anna's Birthday Party Ya! Anna

chose her menu for lunch. We had twice cooked potatoes with cheese and bacon, chicken ceasar salad, watermelon, and cheesecake with fresh berries. We tried to trick her with trick sparkler candles.

Kent Sorensen

We can't believe it is true. We love Kent and Julie Sorensen. Kent has always been so friendly, kind and interested in each one of our family members. We honor his devotion and love to the Lord, his wife and children. He has taught Lindsay so many wonderful things that bless our lives. We know he will continue to be an influence in Lindsay and Eric's lives. We miss you Kent. We hope Julie and the boys know how much we love them. They are welcome any time.

Josh's birthday

Josh had a very exciting birthday. We all love to tell Josh that we love him.

He is soooo fun. He is sooooo smart. He is sooooo nice and soooo happy.

We love Josh

Tiger and Abby

Abby, do your parents know you saw the cat?

Wendy's Birthday

Wendy's birthday was soooo exciting. She is a beautiful pregnant mother. So is Will. We love Wendy because she loves all of us so abundantly.

Jumping on the trampoline

Ella, Abby and Eric

got electrified jumping on the trampoline.

April Swimming

Even though it was April, Grandma was tending and said it was ok to go swimming.

Zoo

What fun to see Abby's face when

she saw the giraffes and the elephants. She made Grandpa and Grandma so happy when she said she would go to the zoo.

Josh has his mountain bike. He took Dad on a ride. They are lovin' it! Grab your bike and let's go for a ride. Amy, you practice getting in and out of your clips first. Oh and Wendy, you better wait until your baby is born. Anna, you have to get a job. Mom, you need to get some muscles first. Be sure to bring your bikes Eric and Lindsay, or is it still out on the old porch?

Kim's loving soccer

I love visits and visiting. Here are some pictures we want to share.
Sam is so handsome. He is on his way to the Chi Omega formal. Who let that suit back out of it's bag?

No more injuries

It looks like we need to be a little bit more careful when we go out. Maybe we should invest in some body armor or at least helmets.

Sam started it out by running into a fence. George of the Jungle,
"Watch out for that...Fence?"

Then Josh decided to get into a water fight with a water cannon attached to an airport fire engine. It's too bad his windshield shattered on his face

And finally, Amy tipped over on her new bike with it attached to the trailor.

Unfortunatley her feet were also attached to the bike pedals as she fell.

"Mommy, don't fall over anymore", said Ella.

(this picture was taken before the accident. nobody wants to see the after shots.

they're not modest!)
