I've Had My Turkey Dinner

We have sooooo much to be thankful for.
Mom was thankful to be with family. We missed Eric, Lindsay, Abby, and Sarah, Wendy, Will and Annie.

Kim sang, "Come Thou Fount" with Anna on the piano, Dad on the Alto Recorder and Mom on the flute.
Amanda read a darling story about how nice it is just to be together. Sam dug around and found his Juice Harp.

Will presented two clever poems via web cam.

Grandpa lead the men in singing, "God Be With You 'Til We Meet Again"

Dave and Anna sang a beautiful, "Abide With Me"

The Forsyth presented a play about how being a selfish turkey can get you into a fix.

The Garage

It was tricky to get the garage to come down in our yard and not the Thornton's. Of course Dad found a way to use his winch to save the falling garage.
Dad rented a jack hammer and spent a Saturday breaking up the cement

Eric Olson (Bridgett Tidwell's husband) came to help take away the cement pad from the old garage. He brought some fun toys. Dad asked if he could play too! Eric stayed from 8 in the morning until 7 pm. They dug the ditch for the footings with this fun machine.

This Was Our Halloween

We had just gotten back from Amanda's Parent's house and saw all of her little nieces costumes and decided to go home and when we got there, all we heard was "THRILLER!" and all other kinds of crazy music till about.....3 am. We're not complaining at all.....kind of. But it was a fun day.
